WHO WE ARE

EXPERIENCED, DEDICATED, INNOVATORS.

The partnership between Brian Eggert and Edgar Sarmiento provides over 40 combined years in drifting, and has helped shape what U.S. drifting is today. Together, they’ve created a team capable of expanding these efforts to new heights.

BRIAN EGGERT

The mind behind U.S.Drift / Lookout Drift, the top mid-Atlantic / East Coast drift organization. Lookout Drift was founded in 1999 by Brian and Michael Schneider. A few years later with the help of Chris Cobetto from NASA (National Auto Sport Association), they created U.S.Drift to help provide a safe and fun environment for the drifting motorsport. Brian has previously worked on a variety of live events for high-end automotive luxury brands and other automotive lifestyle events such as HyperFest, Hot Import Nights, GT Live, XDC, and many others. When he’s not busy helping hosting and coordinating events he likes to spend time at home with his family or hanging out at Formula DRIFT in the judging stand.

EDGAR SARMIENTO

The co- founder of Drift Indy. Starting in 2005 and, for a time, encompassing Midwest Drift Union Pro Am, Drift Indy remains the premiere drifting organization in the Midwest. Notable recent successes include Drift Indy Street League, a street style tandem competition and No Star Bash which attracts more than 200 drivers over a four-day event.

SHAWN ALLGOOD

An Army Veteran who started his photography journey on deployments in Afghanistan, Iraq and Southeast Asia. Merging his passion for motorsports with photography was an easy decision, so Shawn cut his teeth shooting ARA stage rally all over the US. Finding drifting in late 2020, Shawn made the jump to video production and began work for a variety of outlets to include Drift Indy, Drift Appalachia as well as Formula Drift teams and sponsors.

DAVE LOVE

A motorsports-based illustrative artist and multi-media creative. Originally a fabricator / parts designer for exotic cars and race chassis, he discovered drifting in 2009 and found within it a form of motorsport that blended art and machine in a way he’d never before seen. Since then, Dave has built a suite of talents that have allowed him to become a creative one-stop-shop for pro-level drivers, teams, and companies within the sport and beyond. Providing design that adds visual momentum to any brand identity.

SAM HOUSE

Sam is an experienced photographer with a background in journalism and a passion for anything on wheels. While he was pursuing his journalism degree at Indiana University, he attended his first Drift Indy event for a class project back around 2018. He’s barely missed an event since. After being brought on as a DI staff member in 2022, he created a blog and has been telling the stories of the Midwest’s best events and drivers since then. His role naturally developed to include a focus on social media management and marketing. Sam is a passionate and skilled marketing and journalism professional that is thrilled to be able to combine those skills with the motorsport he loves.

CHUCK MURRAY

Chuck Murray is an active duty Coast Guard member with a passion for cars and motorsports. His journey into photography began during deployments to South and Central America, where he started capturing the unique landscapes and moments of service life. From there, his focus shifted to the fast-paced world of drag racing and grip racing, eventually finding his true passion within the drift community. Today, Chuck combines his love for cars with his expertise behind the camera, bringing a unique perspective to motorsport photography for The Drift Group.
